The Ministry of Culture and Education of the Moscow Region pays great attention to cultural development and education in the regions. Over 2000 specialists have been trained in recent years. The college has trained more than 300 laureates of International, All-Russian and Regional competitions. Students and teachers take an active part in International music festivals: in Germany, Spain, Austria, Czech Republic, Finland. Norway, Hungary, Latvia, France, Lithuania. Students and teachers of the college have given over 5500 concerts for residents of the Moscow region.

High creative achievements, outstanding successes at International and All-Russian competitions and festivals, extensive experience in scientific, methodological and experimental work in the Moscow region, the Russian Federation and abroad, allowed the V.I. A.N. Scriabin to enter in 2003 and 2010 according to the results of the competition "Window to Russia" among the best educational institutions of the country. In 2007, according to the results of the All-Russian competition "Golden Support" from 140 thousand institutions, the college was highly appreciated and awarded the honorary title of laureate. The musical institution was founded in 1972 in the city of Elektrostal.
