Specialist in educational and methodical work

Job responsibilities. Performs methodical work on planning and organizing the educational process. Organizes the formation of curricula in areas (specialties) of training students (bachelors, specialists and masters) in accordance with educational standards. Carries out the distribution of the teaching load between the faculties, departments and departments. Compiles records of the hourly load of the departments. Draws up the teaching schedule of teachers, the schedule for the implementation of laboratory, practical work, seminars, consultations of students (students, listeners). Controls the availability and implementation of the curricula of the departments, individual plans of teachers, the program of lecture courses for compliance with the educational standard. Manages the development of a rating system for students (students, listeners), compiles ratings, is responsible for providing access to them. Coordinates the coverage of the educational process on the website of the structural unit of the educational institution. Analyzes and submits to the management information about the causes of academic debt of students (students, trainees), dropouts of students (students, trainees), as well as reports on the fulfillment of the teaching load by teachers. Prepares proposals on the size of the state assignment and the state order for the preparation of bachelors, specialists and masters and other students for future periods, on the distribution of the number of teaching (teaching) personnel by departments depending on the teaching load performed by the department. Draws up a schedule for using the classroom fund for classes with students (students, listeners).

The qualification characteristics of the positions of managers and specialists of higher and additional vocational education have been established.

These positions, in particular, include the rector, vice-rector, head (head) of the department (department) of postgraduate studies, scientific secretary of the council of the institution (faculty), head of educational (industrial) practice, director of the student palace of culture and hostel, assistant, teacher, associate professor, professor, dean, head of department.

For them, the main labor functions (job responsibilities), as well as requirements for knowledge, professional training and work experience are established.

Thus, the rector of an educational institution must have a higher (additional) vocational education in the field of state and municipal administration, personnel management, projects, management and economics. In addition, it is necessary to have an academic degree and title, as well as at least 5 years of scientific or scientific-pedagogical work experience.

Persons who do not have the required special training or work experience, but who have sufficient practical experience and who perform the duties assigned to them qualitatively and in full, may be appointed to the relevant positions on the recommendation of the attestation commission.

4. Rights of a specialist in educational and methodological work

A specialist in educational and methodological work has the right to:

4.1. Participate in the discussion of draft documents on the organization of the educational process.

4.2. Request, on behalf of the immediate supervisor, and receive from other employees of the organization the necessary information, documents necessary for the performance of official duties.

4.3. Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the management regarding the function performed by him, with documents defining his rights and obligations in his position, criteria for assessing the quality of the performance of his labor functions.
