How I spent the summer

Then we went to Kizhi – an island in the center of the Lake Onega. There we saw old wooden churches which were really amazing. |
| But we spent most of the time in Karelian woods. We collected mushrooms and my uncle caught some fish in the lake. |
| The water in lakes was too cold to swim in it, but my father and I went sailing several times. We walked through pine woods and swamps where we collected a lot of different berries: cranberries, cowberries, blueberries, bilberries and cloudberries. |
| On the way home we also visited Valaam monastery on Ladoga Lake. It was founded about a thousand years ago. We watched a service in the Cathedral of the Transfiguration of the Savior and saw the famous miracle-working Valaam Icon of the Mother of God. |
| I liked my summer holidays very much. The nature of Karelia is wonderful: pure lakes, waterfalls, rocks covered with pine wood. I tasted different northern berries, and I saw an elk for the first time in my life. We all really enjoyed our trip and decided to go to Lake Baikal next summer. |
How I spent the summer

I spent my summer in a camp which is located in Moscow. I "d like to tell you a little bit about it. Firstly, when I came to my room, I was shocked, because it was decorated so brilliant and I really didn't have a desire to go somewhere else. After an hour my roommate came. We talked about our schools and found that we had a lot in common. This girl also liked to play volleyball like me and we decide to play it somewhere. We found such a wonderful place in the park near our camp, where we can play. After that we played there everyday. The food in our camp was really delicious. We "ve never missed dinner, because the dessert was amazing. In the camp we should go to bed in ten o" clock, but when the keeper turns the light off we chat and laughing but not too loud, because she can hear us. We watch a lot of movies there and read some books. So I think that I spent the time in the camp very good.
I spent the summer in a camp located in Moscow. I want to tell you a little about this. Initially, when I came to my room, I was shocked because it was beautifully furnished and I really had no desire to go anywhere else. An hour later my roommate came. I have a good summer holidays this year. And now I want to tell you about my rest time during my summer. The school year is over and I can do what I want. But my parents decide to send me to the summer camp. At the beginning I was angry, but my adventures were waiting for me in the future.
I went to the summer camp. At the beginning I didn't feel myself well. But in the second day I got acquainted with a good boy. We are speaking a lot of time about everything in the world. We spoke about dolphins. He told me how he visited a water park with his parents. At that time he could communicate with the dolphins.
In this summer camp I took part in the swimming competitions. Our team took the first place and we were much enjoyed. My trainer said to me that I was the best sportsman in our team. As for me I think when I'll come back home I'll go to our local sport club. I hope I shall be the best sportsman there. My friends were the best in the football, volleyball, basketball. I was out-living for my friends, when they took part in chess competitions.
We had very much interesting events in the summer camp. I was in many interesting concerts. We listened to rising stars. It was so wonderful. Also I went to the dance club. I danced with the best girl in the camp. All bays wanted to meet with her, but she looked only on me. It's so beautiful, and I was so happy. She was the best girl in our camp.
We had many interesting times. We were drawing, swimming, took part in the sports competitions, watching interesting concerts. It was the best time in my life. What I was stupid, when I was angry on my parents in the beginning of the summer.
When I came back home from the summer camp, I asked for forgiveness at my parents. I thank them for my summer holidays. Now I can tell my classmates about the best summer holidays.

We had a prom after this nomination and I had got my first kiss!

But, as for me, I decided to spend this summer not as usual. I went to the summer camp. It was a very amazing place. It lies near the lake and forest. The nature was very beautiful and in the whole it was the magnificent place.The weather at that time was very nice, the sun is always shined and the sky was without clouds. There were many people almost from the whole country and even from abroad. Of course I have met many friends there and especially it was very interesting to communicate with foreign guys, who told many stories about the ways of life in their states .
In a camp we lived in a small buildings, so it was very interesting to visit our neighbors, especially in the night. Every morning we got up at 9 a.m. We did some physical exercises and after that we have a breakfas. Every day was full of joy and fun. We swam in the lake, lay in the sun, played different games and went boating.Very often there were tournaments, and I took participation in footballmatches.
Sometimes we could go fishing and it was the wonderful time. I remember one day when I with my best friends cought a lot of carps and perches. By the way at that evening we cooked tasty fish soup.Of course i want to say that some days we spent in the forest. There we could enjoy the silence of the nature and listen to the songs of diffrent birds. But what is the pleasure to walk near the lake at the time of sunset! In such moments you have unbelievable feelings.
Every evening we gathered together near the fire and told some fun or terrible stories. It was really interesting because our girls were always afraid. After that we went to our buildings and prepared to a sleep. It was the time when we have the great fun because we were alone without our teachers and could do what we wanted. Next day was a new day with its new surprises and imprassions.
In that camp I was about two weeks and I didnt notice when the time flew. It was unforgetable rest, I took many photos. And now I continue my friendship with my new friends, I miss them very much.Of course, I hope that next summer I will go there again.
