The competition was first held in 2007 in Italy and immediately gained popularity. The idea of creation belongs to British Institutes - an English organization.

Why British Bulldog?
The name "bulldog", that is, a bull dog, is associated with its original and immediate purpose, namely, an attack on a bull. But over time, such battles were canceled. And the dog has become an indispensable companion of a true gentleman.

Schoolchildren from grade 3 to grade 11 can take part in it. All tasks will be posted on this site, but the results are only in 2017, in March, too, on the same source. Participation in this Olympiad in English is paid, but the fee is small.

British Bulldog is an English language Olympiad, in which all interested students can take part.

On December 14, 2016, the next international competition-game in English for schoolchildren of grades 3-11 British Bulldog was held.
Participants of the competition in 2016-2017 were divided into 4 age groups, for each of which 4 variants of tasks were prepared, each containing 60 questions.
The time for completing the task is 75 minutes.
Tasks are designed to test the knowledge of the participants in understanding the English text, knowledge of grammar, knowledge of vocabulary.

International competition British Bulldog is an English Olympiad. It's just a great opportunity to test the level of a student's knowledge of English.
