Already the sky was breathing in autumn,
Less often the sun shone,
The day was getting shorter
Forests mysterious canopy
With a sad noise she was naked,
Fog fell on the fields
Noisy geese caravan
Stretched to the south: approaching
Pretty boring time;
November was already at the yard.

Date of creation: between October 1824 and January 1825

Analysis of Pushkin's poem "Already the sky was breathing in autumn ..."

The poem “Already the sky was breathing in autumn ...” is mandatory for studying in elementary school. Children in the second grade listen to these lines and with their help they are imbued with the magical atmosphere of Russian autumn. In addition, this work allows students to appreciate the poetic talent of Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin.

Interestingly, despite its wide popularity, this poem is not an independent work. It is a fragment of stanza XL of the fourth chapter of the novel "Eugene Onegin". This passage has an unusual fate. It was created between October 1824 and January 1825. Originally the next part
Already the sky was breathing in autumn,
The sun shone less...
was placed in stanza XXIV, but then the poet moved it to the fortieth stanza.

Already from the above lines, the reader can note how various poetic techniques the author used to convey his enthusiastic awe when contemplating the autumn beauties. The anaphora in this fragment emphasizes how inexorably nature changes, how summer fades away.

These lines show the poet's love for his homeland. Note how affectionately Alexander Sergeevich calls the heavenly body "the sun", as if it were a living creature native to the author. Even the author's sky is animated. If in other works the heavens act as a decoration for more important events, then in Pushkin it itself is actor. It inhales smells to concentrate them and convey them to the poet enjoying the autumn views.

The epithets used in the work deserve detailed consideration. The expressions that the poet chooses to depict natural phenomena make it easy for the reader to imagine these things. Here, for example, the phrase "forests mysterious canopy." Thanks to a spectacular epithet, we can see with our mind's eye the once impenetrable thicket, gradually losing dense foliage and acquiring vagueness and transparency. Our hearing brings to us an indistinct rustling, described by the poet as a "sad noise", with which the curved branches of trees are exposed.

Attention should be paid to the metaphor with which the author describes the flock of birds:
Noisy geese caravan
Moved south...

Such an expression is not expected to be found in relation to geese, because it is usually used only in relation to beasts of burden. The word "caravan" itself supposedly comes from the Sanskrit "camel" (according to another version, "elephant"). But this metaphor very accurately conveys the impression of a long chain of birds that have fattened over the summer, slowly moving across the sky.

The autumn month, mentioned at the end of the poem, also acts as an independent hero. An animated November is reminiscent of an impatient unexpected guest who is waiting at the door: “November was already at the yard.”

This poem is an excellent example of Pushkin's landscape lyrics. In it, amazing pictures are presented with the help of spectacular literary techniques, thanks to which the reader is easily imbued with the mood of Russian autumn.

There is a time in the year when the earth puts on its most expensive clothes.

These days it seems that the earth is beginning to glow. The beauty of autumn is especially brightly visible in the forest.

Have you ever been in the forest in autumn?

- Wandering in silence along the forest paths?

- What feelings do you experience when you walk along the path in the autumn forest?

Teacher: At such an hour you feel a special connection with nature, with the Motherland, you understand that you are a particle of this land and the land belongs to you.

At the end of October. Late autumn is coming. There are no singing birds, few flowering plants. It rains, the sun rarely shines, the fields are empty. The birds are flying. Gardens, groves, forests become naked and transparent. Many works of painting, music, and literature are devoted to the image of different seasons, especially autumn.

4. Statement of the educational problem.

Over the course of several lessons, we will be talking about autumn. Let's get acquainted with the works of Russian writers and poets. We will learn expressive reading, develop memory, learn to speak beautifully. Let's be imbued with the understanding that nature should be treated with care, learn to see and appreciate the beauty of nature.

5. Introduction of new knowledge.

1) And I want to start studying the topic with the words of the poet.

Read these lines. Who do you think is their author?

The days of late autumn are usually scolded,
But she is dear to me, dear reader,
Silent beauty, shining humbly.
To tell you frankly
Of the annual times, I am glad only for her alone.

That's right - these are the words of A.S. Pushkin. The poet's favorite season is autumn.

2) Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin! (Presentation by A.S. Pushkin)

When did each of us first hear this name?

Maybe in the cradle, when they listened to the melodious singing of the grandmother?

Or, lying in bed, listening to the marvelous tales that my mother read?

Pushkin comes to us in early childhood and stays with us for life.

It is difficult to find a person who would not know, did not love the wonderful works of this poet.

Even during his lifetime, he was called “the never-setting sun of Russian poetry.

And although more than 200 years have passed since his birth, our love for him does not weaken.

Blessed is the day and the hour,
When with the warmth of native shelter
For the first time for each of us
Pushkin's word comes.

6. Physical education

Imagine that we are in the autumn forest and we are walking along the paths. How did you see autumn forest?

Here we stop and
Hands raised and shook
These are the trees in the forest.
Hands bent
brushes shaken
The wind knocks down the dew
To the side of the hand
Gently wave
The birds are flying towards us.
How they sit down, we will also show
Wings folded back.

7. Listening to a poem.

1) And now let's listen to how A.S. Pushkin describes autumn in his poem (reading the poem by the teacher to the music):

Already the sky was breathing in autumn,
The sun shone less
The day was getting shorter
Forests mysterious canopy
She stripped naked with a sad noise.
Fog fell on the fields
Noisy geese caravan
Stretched to the south; approached
Pretty boring time;
November was already at the yard.

(Emotional pause. Music)

- “The sky was already breathing in autumn ...”

How do you understand these words?

In what sense is the word "breathed" used? (Student answers)

"Forests mysterious canopy

With a mournful noise she was naked”

Have you ever watched the migration of birds in autumn?

How do they fly?

Why does Pushkin use the word "stretched"?

8. Work on expressiveness.

1) Statement of logical stress, tempo of reading, arrangement of pauses.

2) What feelings does the poet convey? (Feeling of regret, sadness, despondency about the past summer.)

3) Expressive reading poems.

9. Reflection.

AT autumn bad weather seven weathers in the yard: sows, blows, twists, stirs, roars, and pours from above, and sweeps from below.

- What time of autumn is this proverb dedicated to?

In the people, autumn is associated with the time of harvest.

Bread becomes the main character in the life of the peasant.

“The fish is water, the berry is grass, and rye bread is the head of everything,” the people said.

How much bread they collect - that's how life will turn out. Mood, and well-being, and health depended on the harvest. “The fish is water, the berry is grass, and rye bread is the head of everything,” the people said.

But autumn is not only a “bread result”, autumn is also a “charm of the eyes” (A.S. Pushkin). Autumn is beauty: multi-colored leaves, mountains of ruddy apples, transparent fragrant morning air.

As the seasons change, so does our mood. It is sad in autumn to look at the flowers drying up in the flowerbeds, sad from the dull cold rain, gloomy dark morning, bare trees, chilly puddles and gray sky.

And I want to end our lesson with the words:

There is no bad weather
Every weather is a blessing
Is it rain or snow
Any time of the year
Should be gratefully received.

10. Homework.

  • Learn the poem by heart.
  • Complete the assignment in your notebook.

Already the sky was breathing in autumn,
The sun shone less
The day was getting shorter
Forests mysterious canopy
With a sad noise she was naked,
Fog fell on the fields
Noisy geese caravan
Stretched to the south: approaching
Pretty boring time;
November was already at the yard.

October has arrived...

October has already come - the grove is already shaking off
The last leaves from their naked branches;
The autumn chill has died - the road freezes through,
The murmuring stream still runs behind the mill,
But the pond was already frozen; my neighbor is in a hurry
In the departing fields with his hunt,
And they suffer winter from mad fun,
And the barking of dogs wakes the sleeping oak forests.

That year the autumn weather…

That year autumn weather
Stood in the yard for a long time
Winter was waiting, nature was waiting.
Snow fell only in January
On the third night. Waking up early
Tatyana saw through the window
Whitewashed yard in the morning,
Curtains, roofs and fences,
Light patterns on glass
Trees in winter silver
Forty merry in the yard
And softly padded mountains
Winters are a brilliant carpet.
Everything is bright, everything is white around.

This is the case with Pushkin, but today we actually have November ON THE yard.

Today I have a "truancy" day, that is, free from any responsible affairs. But some impressions have accumulated. By tradition, we went to the nearest nature - in Botanical Garden("Alma materovsky").

"Eyes charm"- crimson and gold - have already faded greatly. The predominant colors are gray, black... But suddenly - a wonderful bright spot, which looks and is perceived in a special way against a general dark background.

But tricentennial oak- the tablet says that it was planted back in the time of Peter I and almost by himself. Handsome, it is possible to shoot only from a distance. By the way, he was like this a week ago, today without luxurious golden leaves...

We don't seem to like autumn very much (maybe it's only in big cities?), and we wonder WHAT is it that our esteemed Alexander Sergeevich loved so much
this time of the year (except perhaps still winter), but not spring and summer, for which we have a weakness?

For us, autumn means rain, sleet, short cloudy days, often accompanied by depression. He, too, had similar sentiments:

Already the sky was breathing in autumn,
The sun shone less
The day was getting shorter
Forests mysterious canopy
With a sad noise she was naked,
Fog fell on the fields
Geese noisy caravan
Stretched to the south: approaching
Pretty boring time;
November was already at the yard.
However, in the "dull time" Pushkin suddenly saw something luxurious, colorful, bright:

... Eyes of charm!
Your farewell beauty is pleasant to me -
I love the magnificent nature of wilting,
Forests clad in crimson and gold,
In their canopy of the wind noise and fresh breath,
And the heavens are covered with mist,
And a rare ray of sun, and the first frosts,
And distant gray winter threats.

A completely different perception of the exposed nature and the coming winter.

It would be nice to just throw off the laziness that has ingrained in us (like dust that causes allergies), shake ourselves up, free ourselves from grumbling and endless whining, and enjoy the full and frank, and elusive beauty of the surrounding nature, which every time determines the state of the human soul. ..
