Mandatory state exams are becoming more and more difficult every year, requiring from graduates of the 9th grade deep fundamental knowledge in the main subjects of the school curriculum.

For students who are finishing the 8th grade in the 2017-2018 academic year, it's time to think about how to prepare for the upcoming OGE 2019 and what subjects you need to learn better today.

For teachers of students and their parents, we have collected the most up-to-date information about the OGE next year, namely:

All things

In the 2018-2019 academic year, ninth-graders will have to take a total of 5 final exams, of which 2 will be mandatory (Russian language and mathematics), and 3 more students will have the opportunity to choose at their own request from the list of approved subjects. The following are submitted for the elective exam:

  • story;
  • physics;
  • chemistry;
  • Informatics;
  • biology;
  • geography;
  • literature;
  • social science;
  • foreign languages (English, French, German or Spanish).

Knowing what mandatory tests are included in the OGE, you will be able to pull up the necessary subjects to successfully pass the exams in 2019 by entering the desired educational institutions or specialized classes.

Important! For many ninth-graders, the OGE will not just be the result of studying in high school, but also the first step towards the desired profession, because in 2019 the examination grades will affect the certificate, and the recommended passing scores are set for profile classes.

Schedule of the OGE in 2019

Starting from 2018, a mandatory oral part of the Russian language exam is being introduced for graduates of the 9th grade. Speaking will be the first test for schoolchildren and at the same time a kind of admission to the rest of the exams. They plan to take speaking in February (before the start of the preliminary and main campaign).

There is no official schedule for the OGE yet, but today it can be assumed that the campaign will take place in three stages:

  1. Preliminary (end of April - beginning of May).
  2. Main (end of May - beginning of June).
  3. Supplementary (September 2019).

The calendar of the preliminary period of the OGE 2019 will be as follows:

The main exams for the 9th grade in 2019 are scheduled for the following dates:

Autumn (September) retake is scheduled for the following days:

Expected changes

So, we figured out how many and what subjects ninth-graders will have to take in 2019. But what can children expect from tickets? What will be the tasks?

The Ministry of Education and Science assures that they are quite satisfied with the level of tickets for 2017-2018 school year and do not plan drastic changes. Whether this is so can be said with certainty when the graduation campaign ends and the results are summed up.

In 2019, such innovations of 2017 and 2018 will definitely be preserved, such as:

  • speaking Russian;
  • oral part at the OGE in foreign languages;
  • single tickets for mathematics for all educational institutions and all regions of the Russian Federation;
  • mandatory video surveillance in the classrooms where the exams will be held.

In the coming 2019, 9th grade students will take both compulsory OGE subjects and elective disciplines based on their schools!

Most likely, KIMs for the OGE in compulsory and additional subjects in 2019 will receive minor changes aimed at more precise adjustment of questions and the replacement of some controversial tasks (if any are identified after passing the exams in 2018).

The probability of raising the passing threshold for entry into specialized classes is considered. But, to date, this selection criterion is rather advisory in nature. In 2017-2018 minimum scores were distributed as follows:

Minimum score

for the certificate

Passing score

to the profile class

Russian language

Maths

(natural profile)

(but not less than 6 in geometry)

Maths

(economic profile)

(but not less than 5 in geometry)

For more information on how the results of the OGE are interpreted, we suggest reading the official FIPI document developed for 2018.

Retake procedure

Compulsory exams for ninth graders are not just a slice of knowledge. The issue of issuing certificates depends on the results that children receive in the course of completing tasks.

In 2019, the right to retake can be used if:

  1. The child could not come to the exam for a good reason (documentary evidence is required).
  2. The student came to the test, but did not complete it for a good reason.
  3. The work was canceled by the SEC (but not through the fault of the student).
  4. The examinee received an unsatisfactory mark in a compulsory subject.
  5. When filing an appeal and its satisfaction after consideration by the conflict commission.

A student is not allowed to retake if:

  1. The exam was skipped without a valid reason.
  2. The child was suspended from work due to his own fault (violation of behavior, use of cheat sheets, unauthorized technical means, etc.).
  3. The examinee "flunked" both mandatory exams or more than 2 subjects.

Keep track of innovations and changes regarding the OGE, which is due to take place in 2019, by reading the latest news on our portal. As soon as the dates and innovations regarding the Unified State Examination and the OGE are announced, we will be the first to tell you about it!

Training

The most important component successful delivery GIA is always a systematic study of the subject throughout all the years of schooling. If some gaps in knowledge have formed from grades 5 to 8, it's time to fill them up by starting intensive preparation for the final exams.

Where to begin?

  1. Find out what exams your 9th grade will take and how many subjects are submitted for final certification in 2019.
  2. Repeat theoretical basis in selected disciplines.
  3. Practice as much as possible in solving tests and problems by working through trial versions of OGE tickets for 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Most schools organize additional classes to prepare for the final exams. If there are none, and the need for the help of a teacher is obvious, it is worth considering the option of group or individual lessons with a tutor.

Information that can be found on the net can become indispensable. These are explanations for the solutions of a certain type of tasks, and video lessons, and collections of theory necessary for preparing for the OGE.

Today it is difficult to find at least one student who has not been affected in one way or another by the reform of the educational sphere. Having got used a little to such terms as GIA and USE, I had to get used to the new USE and GVE very quickly. However, the change of abbreviations did not add clarity to the essence of these concepts.

Exam in grade 9 - GIA, OGE or GVE, what's the difference?

What is OGE?

First of all, the OGE and the GVE are parts of an integral system (State Final Attestation) in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation of December 25, 2013 and are held in the 9th graduating class. That is, the GIA, as defined by law, can take place in two forms − GVE and OGE:

1) The OGE is carried out using KIM (control measuring materials) for all students in secondary educational institutions of the country and persons with foreign citizenship, statelessness, refugees, migrants who have independently mastered the entire required volume educational program and having access to the GIA.

2) GVE is carried out through a written and oral examination - texts, topics, assignments, tickets, tests - for all students of special secondary educational institutions of a closed type, including those who are sentenced to imprisonment, and people with handicapped health.

As for the definitions themselves, the decoding of the OGE is as follows - “Basic State Exam”. Accordingly, GVE is the “State Graduation Examination”. They are mandatory for all students completing the 9th grade, and consist of passing two compulsory subjects (mathematics and Russian) and two disciplines to choose from.

What is GVE?

This format of the unified state exam is taken by all ninth graders and eleventh graders who have any restrictions due to their health or study in specialized institutions closed type. The rest, who do not have health problems, pass the GIA in the form of the OGE according to standard tests (KIMs).

However, in the coming year, the Department of Education has already provided for some changes in the system of state exams. For example, the GIA (OGE) 2015 will begin no earlier than May 25 for all compulsory subjects and no earlier than April 20 for the rest. All information regarding the OGE will be published in the media and on the official websites of educational authorities until April 1.

Changes in the GIA 2015 (OGE)

In the OGE 2015, changes will also affect the very issuance of a matriculation certificate. Now, to obtain it, you must pass at least four exams (two mandatory and two optional) with a score of at least “satisfactory”. In addition, mathematics and the Russian language, as before, remain unchanged for delivery. The rest of the subjects are individually selective for each student and make up a list of twelve disciplines, including the OGE in English language Key words: physics, chemistry, computer science, geography, social studies, literature, history, biology, German, Spanish and French. As for the content and procedure for conducting the GIA, the structure of the measuring materials and the duration of the exam itself remain unchanged.

Thus, OGE and GVE are, in essence, two names for one general process of passing final exams, the difference between which lies only in minor positions.

Conducting the OGE

On the day of the exam, the OGE participant arrives at the exam point (PPE) at least 45 minutes before it starts.

The OGE participant is included in the PES only if he has an identity document, and if he is on the distribution lists in this PES. If the participant does not have an identity document, his identity is confirmed by the accompanying person from the educational organization by which he was admitted to the GIA.

On the day of the exam, the OGE participant must have a gel or capillary pen with black ink.

At the Russian language exam, the OGE participant is allowed to use spelling dictionary issued by the organizers in the audience. Dictionaries are provided by an educational organization on the basis of which the PES is organized, or by educational organizations whose students take an exam in the PES. The use of personal spelling dictionaries by OGE participants is prohibited.

At the mathematics exam, the OGE participant is allowed to carry and use a ruler. Reference materials containing the basic formulas of the mathematics course of the educational program of basic general education (hereinafter referred to as reference materials) are received by the OGE participant along with the examination materials. The use of personal reference materials by the participants of the OGE is prohibited.

At the chemistry exam, the OGE participant is allowed to carry and use a non-programmable calculator. Periodic system chemical elements D.I. Mendeleev, the table of solubility of salts, acids and bases in water and the electrochemical series of voltages of metals, the participant of the OGE will receive the necessary laboratory equipment along with the examination materials.

At the physics exam, the OGE participant is allowed to carry and use a non-programmable calculator. The OGE participant will receive the necessary laboratory equipment along with the examination materials.

At the geography exam, the OGE participant is allowed to carry and use a non-programmable calculator and ruler. Geographic atlases for grades 7, 8 and 9 are provided by an educational organization on the basis of which the PES is organized, or by educational organizations whose students take an exam in the PES. Use of personal geographical atlases OGE participants are prohibited.

At the biology exam, the OGE participant is allowed to carry and use a ruler, a pencil and a non-programmable calculator.

At the literature exam, the OGE participant is allowed to use the texts of works of art and collections of lyrics.

On the day of the exam, the OGE participant is prohibited from carrying communications equipment, electronic computers, photo, audio and video equipment, reference materials, written notes and other means of storing and transmitting information.

The OGE participant approaches the information stand (or is sent by the organizer), where the distribution lists for audiences are located, and determines the audience where he is assigned to the exam. The organizers assist the participants of the OGE in placing them in the classrooms in which the exam will be held.

At the entrance to the PES, law enforcement officers and (or) employees of the internal affairs bodies (police), together with the organizers, check the availability of the specified documents from the students, establish their identity with the submitted documents, check the availability specified persons in distribution lists in this PES.

When entering the classroom, the OGE participant leaves personal belongings in a specially designated place in the classroom, except for those permitted for use in the exam.

The OGE participant takes a workplace in the audience in accordance with the distribution. Changing the workplace is not allowed.

Before the start of the exam, the OGE participant is instructed, and listens to information about the procedure for conducting the exam, the rules for registration examination work, the duration of the exam, the procedure for filing appeals about violations of the established procedure for conducting the OGE and about disagreement with the points given, about cases of removal from the exam, as well as the time and place of familiarization with the results of the OGE. The organizers inform students that the entries on the KIM for the OGE, texts, topics, tasks, tickets for the GVE and drafts are not processed or checked.

The organizer in the audience issues examination materials to the participants of the OGE (KIM, forms for recording answers, drafts, reference materials allowed for use, laboratory equipment (if necessary)). The OGE participant checks the completeness and quality of printing of examination materials. If the OGE participant discovers a marriage or incompleteness of the examination materials, he/she contacts the organizer to receive a new set of examination materials.

At the direction of the organizer, the OGE participant fills in the registration fields of the forms. The organizers check the correctness of filling in the registration fields of the examination paper by the students. After that (upon completion of filling in the registration fields of the examination work by all students), the organizer announces the beginning of the exam, and fixes the time of its start on the board (stand), then the OGE participant proceeds to the examination work.

If there was not enough space in the answer sheet for tasks with a detailed answer, the OGE participant requests an additional form from the organizer. An additional form is issued to the OGE participant, subject to filling out the main form on both sides. In this case, the organizer indicates the number of the additional form in the previous form of answers to tasks with a detailed answer. The OGE participant can use drafts and make notes in the KIM when doing work.

During the exam, on the desktop of the OGE participant, in addition to examination materials, there can only be:

· a pen;

an identity document;

the means allowed for use in the exam in some subjects;

During the exam, OGE participants do not have the right to communicate with each other, move freely around the audience and PES. The OGE participant is allowed to leave the classroom during the exam with the permission of the organizer, to move around the PES - accompanied by one of the organizers. When leaving the classroom, the OGE participant leaves examination materials and drafts on the desktop. It is prohibited to take examination materials out of classrooms and PES or to photograph them.

OGE participants who have violated the established procedure for conducting the GIA are removed from the exam. To do this, the organizers public observers invite an authorized representative of the SEC, who draws up an act of removal from the exam and removes persons

violating the established procedure for conducting the GIA, from the PES. The specified act is sent on the same day to the SEC for accounting when processing examination papers. If the fact of violation by the OGE participant of the procedure for conducting the exam is confirmed, the SEC decides to cancel the results of the OGE participant in the corresponding academic subject.

If the OGE participant, for health reasons or other objective reasons, cannot complete the examination work, then he can leave the audience. In this case, the organizers invite a medical worker and an authorized representative of the SEC, who draws up an act on the early completion of the exam for objective reasons. In the future, the OGE participant, if desired, will be able to take the exam in this subject on the reserve days provided for by the schedule.

30 minutes and 5 minutes before the end of the exam, the organizers inform the OGE participants about the imminent completion of the exam and remind them of the need to transfer answers from drafts to sheets (forms).

At the end of the exam, the organizers announce the end of the exam and collect exam materials.

OGE participants who completed the examination work before the announcement of the end of the exam have the right to hand it over to the organizers and leave the PES.

The final exam is an important part educational process and allows you to check the preparedness of the student for further learning. After grade 9, students take the OGE, which consists of 5 exams - 2 mandatory and 3 optional. To achieve best result, you should carefully consider the choice of items.

Getting almost any education is accompanied by a test of acquired knowledge or an exam. This is especially important for students: right choice sciences and a large number of points scored can guarantee admission to the chosen university. The most important is the USE for 11 grades and the OGE for 9 grades.

What is it about

For schoolchildren, the most important is the 11th grade and the final exam (USE). They prepare for it for several months and carefully choose items: they must match the requirements. The second most important is the OGE - the Main State Exam. Grade 9 graduates take it, after which they either remain at school or can transfer to a college or technical school.

Attention! The abbreviation "GIA" (State Final Attestation) is sometimes considered a synonym for the OGE, but in fact the GIA combines the OGE and the Unified State Examination.

The OGE is a mandatory exam for all students. Starting from 2014, it consists of 4 exams (since 2017 - of 5), of which 2 sciences (Russian language and mathematics) are mandatory for everyone, the rest are optional. The Ministry of Education plans to gradually increase the number of elective exams (one every 2 years) in order to improve the level of education of schoolchildren.

Each OGE exam must be passed no worse than the “troika”, otherwise some time is given to retake. If the student does not correct the grade or does not appear for the exam, then instead of a certificate, he will receive a certificate of completion of training. It is possible to retake the OGE only for the next year.

How to choose

Since almost all students continue to study after finishing grade 9, the OGE is not considered an important or decisive test. Its results only affect admission to a college or technical school, otherwise it is enough for a student not to get a deuce.

Attention! Colleges and technical schools can put forward their own requirements for the OGE, usually this applies to subjects taken by the OGE.

In addition to the compulsory subjects at the OGE, graduates choose additional ones at will. They are guided by different motives:

  1. Simplicity: since the main task for most students is to go to grade 10, they do not want to spend time and effort choosing the easiest sciences;
  2. Necessity for the Unified State Examination: in this way, students begin preparation for the final assessment in advance. This helps to better understand the program and prepare for graduation;
  3. Readiness level: The better the student performs in the program, the easier it will be to pass the exam. This will help to score a high number of points. This option is preferred for those leaving the school;
  4. Options required for college admission.

In each situation, the choice of motive will be different. Usually, students try to choose subjects for the USE, which they will then take for the USE. If they have not yet decided on a university, it is worth stopping at the simplest ones: this will help to score a large number of points without overstraining.

A number of features

In 2018, students will be able to choose from:

  1. Biology;
  2. Geography;
  3. Physics;
  4. Chemistry;
  5. computer science;
  6. history;
  7. Social science;
  8. Literature;
  9. Foreign language (English, French, German or Spanish).

Each of the options has advantages and disadvantages. Before making the final choice, you should familiarize yourself with each item separately. Below are some of the "pitfalls":

Attention! First of all, you need to choose at least a direction (humanitarian, natural science or technical) - it will be easier to choose subjects for the OGE.

What to choose

First of all, it is important to decide on the goal: if a student is going to go to college, he should choose the subjects that are required for admission. If the task is only to go to grade 10, you can stop at a simpler one.

Secondly, you will need to realize your capabilities: it is not worth taking social studies just because the majority chose it, if the student himself is poorly versed in the discipline.

Thirdly, you should try to at least roughly imagine what exams will be required at the university and focus on them.

However, the student still has to choose. For example, he can choose a story for the OGE to check whether he has enough strength for the USE in this science.

The OGE is a mandatory main state exam that students must take after grade 9. The OGE is also called the Unified State Examination for 9 grades: a similar exam structure allows examinees to better understand what awaits them at the very end.

The education system does not stand still, which leads to certain reforms. Every year, the parents of graduates clutch their heads and try to figure out the abbreviations OGE, EGE, GVE, GIA. And the most important question for them is what does it all mean, how is it different, who rents and where? And, of course, how it will affect the child himself. According to observations recent years, parents are more panic-stricken than the child himself, who needs to pass the exam. Let's talk more about these types of exams.

What is OGE

The abbreviation OGE itself appeared in 2014, it stands for " Mandatory state exam". Previously, these exams were called GIA (State Final Attestation). Pass this exam at the end of the 9th grade. The OGE provides for the passing of two mandatory exams - this is Russian language and mathematics, and two additional ones that students can choose on their own. When issuing a certificate, the results of all four exams are taken into account, they must at least be passed satisfactorily.

What score do you need to score to pass the exam?

Depending on the chosen discipline, there is a passing score. The maximum number of points for the OGE in the Russian language 39 . To pass the exam, you must score at least 15 points. And for the math exam 8 points. If we translate points into grades, we get:

Russian language 0-14 points is two; from 15 to 24 points equals grade 3; from 25 to 33 is 4 (provided that the student scored at least 4 points on GK1-GK4 questions); from 34 to 39 points - grade 5 (provided that the student scored at least 6 points on questions GK1-GK4).

Max math score 32 , respectively, if the student scores from 0 to 7 points in the exam - score 2; from 8 to 14 points is already three; from 15 to 21 - equals 4; from 22 to 32 points - is estimated at 5 points.
Who is allowed to pass the OGE

Students of educational organizations (gymnasiums, lyceums, schools), including self-study, who have mastered the general education program full-time, part-time or part-time, are allowed to attend. Foreign citizens and refugees who have mastered the general education program, including compatriots abroad.

What is the USE

The unified state exam was first introduced on the territory of the Russian Federation in 2001. He means a single objective test of students' knowledge, for their verification use control measuring materials. Based on the results of this exam, a certificate is issued. At passing the exam There are two mandatory exams - Russian and Mathematics (basic). In addition, students take three exams to choose from, depending on the university they plan to enter.

Who is allowed to pass the exam

Students who have passed the general education program of eleven classes are allowed to take the exam. This exam is taken by students of schools, lyceums, gymnasiums. It is worth noting that the examiner should not have debts in other subjects (i.e., the final grade in subjects should not be lower than 3). A student is allowed to take exams with a grade below 3 only if he passes the exam in this subject.

What score do you need to score to pass the exam?

To successfully pass the exam, you must score at least 36 points in Russian, and at least 27 points in mathematics. For a more successful passing of the exam, the following indicators are required: - Russian language for 4 from to 71, and for 5 from 72 to 100 points. In mathematics, you need to score on 4 from 47 to 64 points, and on 5 your result should be higher than 65 points.

Differences between the OGE and the USE

Similarity of these exams in what they imply an independent assessment of the knowledge of the examinees. These two exams differ in that the OGE is passed after the 9th grade on the territory of the educational institution in which the student was trained. But the exam is given after the 11th grade in an unusual territory for a student, it is called PES. At the OGE, the commission consists of school teachers, and at the Unified State Examination, an independent commission. For execution OGE exam given an hour more time than the exam.

What innovations are expected in the next 5 years?

Dmitry Livanov confirmed the information that a mandatory single exam on history, but specific dates have not been announced. The ministry is discussing such subjects as physics and geography and the possibility of adding them to the list of mandatory exams. Accordingly, there is a risk of increasing the mandatory state exams from two to five.

By 2022, a unified exam in English will be introduced. It is planned to ease the retake of the exam, respectively, the number of retake attempts will be increased to three. Should I be worried about my child taking exams? - No, you can't get away from it. You need to pay more attention to your child's education.
